Conversation User Experience Designer Job in Acuvate Software

What s the opportunity?

Conversation User Experience designer is a new and upcoming role in human-machine interaction design. Think Siri or Alexa. CUX designers are the people responsible for giving software the creative human touch. They do this by designing conversations, responses, dialogs, tone of voice, personas, etc., that make the software more appealing to use, appear smarter, and maybe a little bit human. And this is what you get to do as part of this role.

What you ll be doing:

• Write effective and natural dialogues.
• Design effective, innovative, and delightful conversational experiences using user-centric design methodologies.
• Create bot design documents, including bot personas, example dialogs, conversation flow diagrams, error handling patterns.
• Research and analyze intents and associated customer journeys.
• Create prototypes (mock-ups), wireframes, and templates that clearly convey the conversation design to customers and development teams.
• Work with chatbot language trainers to contribute training data for the bot s NLP/NLU model.
• Work with chatbot language trainers to identify natural language understanding risks and how it affects the conversation design.
• Analyze dialogues and user interaction with live bot/assistants and make recommendations for improving user experience.
• Review customer transcripts to identify gaps in the conversation design; modify design patterns to bridge those gaps.
• Engage with major enterprise brands to understand their business use cases, their customer personas, and intents for the chatbot solution.

What skills are we looking for?

• Should be exceptionally good at English.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Should have experience in writing articles, poems, reviews, storytelling, and other forms of creative writing.
• Should be good at interpersonal skills.
• A deep desire to learn new things.
• Should have at least one public speaking experience, like debates, drama club, etc.

Will be a bonus if you also know..

• Written and/or verbal efficacy in any of the following additional languages: German, Dutch, Portuguese, Spanish or Arabic will be a huge plus.
• Knowledge of Natural Language Understanding is a plus, although not mandatory
• Any prior experience designing chatbots.
