Job Summary Job Title: Application Support Engineer Location: Coimbatore Role Overview: The Application Support Engineer will act as a software detective, identifying and resolving issues in critical business systems. The role focuses on maintaining application stability, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring seamless end-user experience. Key Responsibilities: Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for applications, performing independently. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by end-users. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve application-related incidents. Monitor application performance and proactively address potential issues. Document knowledge base articles and standard operating procedures. Continuously improve support processes and stay updated on industry trends. Professional & Technical Skills: Must Have: Proficiency in HCL BigFix Suite. Strong problem-solving and software troubleshooting expertise. Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices. Knowledge of scripting languages like PowerShell or Python. Good to Have: Experience with IT infrastructure management tools. Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems. Understanding of network protocols and configurations. Qualifications & Experience: Minimum Experience: 2 years with HCL BigFix Suite. Education: 15 years of full-time education. Additional Information: This role requires hands-on experience in application support with an emphasis on HCL BigFix Suite. Position is based in Coimbatore.
