Vp - Business Development - Design Engineering & Pmc Job in Abc Consultants

The responsibility of the Vice President- Business Development is to execute Company's expansion strategy by sourcing leads through various channels, evaluating bids for go/no-go decision, managing the bid life-cycle including sourcing of key professionals, ensuring timely submission of bids, monitoring the quality of bids submitted, monitoring rate of bid conversion, and reviewing reasons for win/loss of key bids to continuously improve internal processes around selection and preparation of bid. They are also responsible for ensuring timely submission of key documents to the knowledge management team and monitoring departmental costs involved in customer acquisition. They will be involved in providing inputs to the organisation s growth strategy and annual operating plan across organic and strategic focus sectors.

• Lead marketing and brand building initiatives to build brand awareness and visibility in the marketplace

• Develop and manage relationships with potential clients, potential lead partners (domestic and international), and key stakeholders

• Development of marketing materials

• Lead market research and monitor industry trends to identify areas of opportunities in line withstrategic objectives

• Monitor competitors to review company's offerings and credentials in light of competitor developments, thereby also building a database of potential partners for joint venture projects

Prepare Business Plan (both short term & long term) of the company with financial targets and implement it successfully in coordination with BU Heads.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidate should have 10-18 years of experience in Business Development, Proposals, Costing, Bidding, Tendering, Risk Management, Client Management in multiple sub-sectors of infrastructure working in Design & PMC firms. Can be a graduate engineer or a graduate with relevant experience of BD in multiple government sector projects - Highways, Bridges, Tunnels, Railways & Metros, Urban Development/Smart Cities, Water & Environment, Power (T&D, Hydro & Renewable
