Location - Bangalore

Job Purpose -
The role is responsible for heading and developing the product, content, and digital marketing strategy for the company's India s digital channels, including but not restricted to the website, mobile application, database marketing and analytics, overseeing integration with the Navitaire booking engine andDigital platforms. The role will lead Product and Digital Marketing to drive direct channel contribution, ROI optimization, route and ancillary revenue from direct channels, Net Promoter Scores on digital customer journeys and digital innovation in customer and guest engagements with the company through digital platforms

Key Duties & Responsibilities
1) Chanel & Commercial -
  • Head Product Strategy including content, marketing and execution for the company's digital channels and associated ecosystems
  • Grow market share through digital marketing and media - organic and paid
  • Drive revenue, engagement, penetration and conversion of owned digital channels and ancillary revenue from digital innovation including loyalty, vouchers, gift cards and group ecosystems
  • Create visibility, grow acquisition and increase traction for digital channels across owned, earned and paid media

2) Positioning -
  • Develop a distinct identity and positioning for the organization'sowned digital channels as the primary port of call for flight, ancillary and partner offerings including travel content in the relevant areas of operation as defined by the organizational and commercial strategy
  • Manage the UI / UX for web and mobile supported by Product & Design.
  • Drive content, search and booking experience and grow Net Promoter Scores (Booking and Check-In) for digital experiences on the website and mobile app
  • Ensure endorsement for the company'sdigital channels, strategy and campaigns as an industry benchmark with third party recognition and awards

3) Planning & Execution -
  • Optimize for return on investment on paid search, display, social and affiliate spends and reduce the indexed direct channel cost of acquisition
  • Grow relevant organic, referral and direct source of traffic for website sessions and mobile app downloads and engagement
  • Drive conversion ratios from database marketing while growing the subscriber & loyalty database and driving Open and Click Through Rates
  • Plan, develop and implement promotions, offers and recognition to acquire prospective customers, grow share of spends and loyalty from existing customers while optimizing the channel mix

4) Innovation -
  • Plan and implement innovative brand, marketing, content, digital and other product development strategies
  • Be the first among travel and tourism and relevant category platforms to adopt and drive value with innovation
  • Partner with industry leaders on new technology adoption, be seen as an evangelist, futurist and industry expert and author whitepapers, blogs and relevant content on digital ecosystems

5) Social -
  • Leverage social media to generate customer acquisition and build engaging content supporting brand, marketing & comms objectives
  • Develop and engage stakeholder communities through digital channels
  • Monitor, report and enhance brand reputation via digital initiatives
  • Create a leading web and mobile user experience
  • Implement a consistent approach to digital analytics with performance KPIs in sync with the overall marketing and commercial goals

6) Financials -
  • Plan, prepare & own the company'sDigital Marketing Capex & A&P Budget
  • Ensure domain contracts are negotiated, executed on time and manage projects within assigned budgets and timelines

7) Collaboration -
  • Ensuring the digital marketing plan is executed in a timely manner
  • Work collaboratively with other stakeholders in Commercial incl. Sales & Distribution, Revenue, Ancillary, Customer Happiness, PR & Comms, Corporate Affairs, Network Planning, Analytics, Cargo, Catering Operations as well as other departments including Information & Communications Technology (ICT), Operations (Flight, Ground, Safety, etc.) Legal, Finance (incl. Risk) and People and Culture (PAC)
  • Be the point of contact and representative for engagements with group, industry, external agencies and partner organizations for digital channel engagements and digital media, including media agencies, Google, Facebook, content and referral partners (including affiliates and other referral sources such as Tata Shop Share Smile, Skyscanner, Google Flights, etc.)

Qualification -
MBA Marketing from Tier 1 Institute

Work Experience -
  • 10+ years specifically in digital marketing in Product / Project Management, including website and mobile app (ideally native) development and booking engine integration (travel or eCommerce).
  • Content and Performance Marketing experience
  • 5+ years experience overseeing digital platforms for an industry leader (#1 or #2) in travel and tourism (aviation / hospitality / OTAs)

Skills -
  • Leadership Skills; Innovative and Analytical Thinking
  • Communication and Content Editorial Skills
  • Google Analytics, Ads and UX Certification
  • Experience with AEM CMS and Google Analytics 360
  • Multilingual would be an added benefit
  • Experience managing content, conversion optimization, social media, loyalty & Customer 360 projects would be an added advantage

MBA/PGDM
