Head Of Legal Job in Abc Consultants

The incumbent has to handle and manage all sort of litigation, review, negotiate, structure and advise the business teams on the various contracts and transactions with third parties, bankers, lenders, investors, takes forward strategic and functional initiatives of legal department In addition the incumbent is responsible for drafting, reviewing and modifying responses/communications with various Govt. Authorities. e will also assist Regulatory team in the consultation process for fixation of tarifffor identifying risks under the legal framework and advice on mitigation of risks. The position also requires interface with external counsels, to handle the litigation

Relevant and total years of Experience

• 20-24 years of post-qualification experience in the law firm and/ or legal department of mid and large size companies in Delhi/NCR.
• Handled litigations of all sorts, i.e., civil, writs, criminal, consumer cases, labour matter.
• Must have at least 3-4 years of experience to independently handle litigations before all courts & forums in Delhi & outside, in a good size law firm or mid-size company.
• Ability to comprehend the financial/ accounting and economic matters so to be able to handle the tariff related issues & litigations;
• Conversant with contractual laws, corporate laws, RBI guidelines on FDI, ODI, ECB, etc., financing documents standards; local laws for undertaking business functions
• Strong exposure to drafting of contracts especially revenue-sharing, joint-venture agreements, development contracts, tender documents; financing documents under various jurisdictions
• Exposure to works contract, bank guarantees, import procedures, etc
• Very Good drafting and communication skills
• High level inter and intra department management skills.
• Good computer skills.
