Job Summary

Your responsibilities

  • Using expertise in relevant technical domain/area to manage compilation of product documentation and to describe handling, functionality, and architecture etc.
  • Planning, editing, writing and developing or migrating complete set of technical documents for the customer.
  • Providing enough information and content in written (or other) form regarding the product/solution so it can be understood and used by the recipient.
  • Collaborating with technical colleagues across the organization to collect all relevant information to be used in technical documentation and partners with them to clarify ambiguous topics.
  • Coordinating the approval process for the technical documentation. Organizes reviews and ensures documentation meets customer requirements.
  • Keeping an updated knowledge of the main characteristics of the relevant products and a good awareness of the most common publishing tools on the market.
  • Living ABB s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Your background

  • Any graduate degree from reputed institutions.
  • Required 8+ years of experience in product documentation development environment.
  • Should have strong knowledge in DITA concepts and information structuring techniques for user-centered content creation.
  • Should have solid experience in skribenta or similar Component Content Management Systems (CCMS).
  • Should have strong technical skills and applied knowledge in MS office applications.
  • Should have experience in maintaining awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential applications on the business needs.
  • Should have strong competence in technical English.
