Sales Team Leader Job in Abb

This is a Sales Team Leader reporting to the Cluster Manager in Business Area Electrification (EL) located in Chennai and will be responsible for achieving order intake and revenue targets for EL business for Chennai Cluster for panel builder with focus on industry segment and generating new business opportunities.

Your responsibilities

• Achieving order booking and revenue target for Chennai cluster in the Panel Builder/ Industry Segment and ensuring that overdue is within set limits.
• Exploring the market for new business opportunities in Chennai market / product segment in the respective region/ territory.
• Preparing and sending customer potential list for the assigned region / territory to Team Leader.
• Maintaining relevant data (vis- -vis planned v/s actual visits, live enquires, promotional plans, new customers generation and project updates) in the defined template and sharing with Manager on regular basis.
• Focusing on conversion of competition accounts.
• Visiting the end customer for generating the enquiry and positioning/ selling the product.
• Interacting & visiting the customers for new customer development.
• Forwarding customer complaints / suggestions to relevant departments for resolution.
• Interacting with LBU/ warehouse on a regular basis and support for deliverables and product marketing.
• Visiting channel partners to resolve issues and thereby maintain relationship with channel partners.
• Ensuring that partners maintain sufficient stock to service the customers.
• Ensuring strict adherence to ABB policies and guidelines.
• Using SFDC and other relevant tools.

Your background

• B.E/ B.Tech/ Diploma in electrical engineering.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in selling of low voltage products.
• Should have good analytical and problem solving skills.
• Flexible for travelling.
