As a Hub Delivery Manager Global Business Services, the position holder will lead the activities for various countries supported from the Hub locally- 220 people and support to over 50 countries. In the role, the vision is to establish and run an organization which is seen as a trusted partner to optimize corporate processes of ABB. In addition, to lead the evolution of Global Business Services (GBS) as a strategic partner to enable achieving of ABB business objectives like cost, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
This role is based in Bangalore and reporting into Function Head Procure to Pay.

Your responsibilities

• Leading global service delivery by achievement the targets (productivity, cost, customer satisfaction, SLAs) and change to ensure seamless transition without business disruption.
• Driving operational metrics performance management and responsible for people strategy (hiring, retention, training & development, performance management).
• Ensuring timely month-end closing, accurate & timely monthly / quarterly and annual reporting and transparency in financial reporting and disclosures.
• Leading internal control over financial reporting compliance and reporting for the general accounting team and act as an escalation point for internal customers, where involvement of executive level is needed.
• Designing and running large scale global transformation initiatives to achieve process standardization, efficiency and automation.
• Providing leadership to GBS Hub Accounts Payable (AP) delivery team for solutions & fit for purpose services to equip them deliver high-quality cost-efficient services.
• Creating a culture of delivery orientation, change management and professionalism in accounting both globally and locally in the GBS Finance centers.
• Focusing on customer value addition and satisfaction to ensure GBS teams are equipped to provide the service levels agreed and enhancing internal control environment and fraud awareness.
• Driving projects globally from ideation, requirement gathering until the deployment of pilots and solutions, with strong focus on simplification and efficiency gains.
• Driving process improvements in all areas leading to harmonization and standardization and use data to reduce complexity and bring ABB AP team process to the next level of automation.

Your background

• Bachelors or masters degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent.
• 15+ years of extensive experience with strong exposure in managing large global teams in both captive and BPO 3rd party set up.
• Senior level leadership and management experience, including P&L accountability.
• Competencies: Strategic thinking, change catalyst, expertise in process excellence, proven leadership and business acumen.
• Proficiency in English language.
• Strong Project Management and Communication skills.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Ability to drive change.
