Job Summary Job OverviewThe candidate would be involved in managing end to end responsibility of operations for all the Pit stops(changeover stations) in his/her regionThe candidate would be required to work closely with all the other functions and the leadership team to ensure complete ownership in managing the operations on the ground. He/she would be responsible for the managing drivers and ensuring that they are motivated. Few examples of the work streams are:Responsible for overall operation of PitstopDriver planning and availability at the Pitstop for incoming vehicleDriver changeover at the Pitstop within time limitToll cash managementVehicle inspectionDocument inspectionCoordination with documentation team for border related documentsTo ensure PS to PS transit time of the vehicles by ensure no unscheduled stoppageCoordinate with operations and planning control team for the placement of vehicle at client locationsUpkeep of the Pitstop infrastructure and assetsTraining of the driversTo maintain the database of drivers for hiringDeploying technology to revolutionize the way relay trucking works in the network.Develop new processes and provide inputs to the tech team so that the inefficiencies in the system are removed through technologyCome up with initiatives to optimize cost and efficiencies in the relay networkEnsuring that the wait time of trucks are within the specified limitsEnsuring that all vehicles follow the standard SOP while on the routes and required documents are fully adhered toEnsure that the lifestyle of truck drivers(pilots) are fully monitored of and are in line with the overall mission of Company. Take innovative steps to improve on the same.Adoption of technology with the ground teamEstablish SOPs to ensure that standardized processes are created and implemented across the organization
