Specialist - Aws Cloud Migration Job in 1111systems

Technical Competencies (Experience and Knowledge) Hands on experience with Cloud lift-and-shift migrations. Experience and understanding of large scale data center migrations. Hands on experience with MGN, DMS, SCT and AWS Migration factory services. Hands on experience working with AWS Cloud technologies including but not limited to VPC, IAM, EC2, RDS, ECS, EKS, EFS, FSx, S3, ELB, ALB, Route 53, AWS Backup CloudTrail and CloudWatch. Hands on experience working with AWS Connectivity technologies such as Direct Connect, Managed VPN, VPN CloudHub, Transit Gateway, PrivateLink and VPC Peering. Hands on experience implementing Disaster Recovery using AWS Elastic Disaster Recovery (AWS DRS) Good understanding database technologies like Oracle DB, MySQL DB, and MS SQL. Proficient in Microsoft Windows and RedHat Linux operating systems. Proficient in VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V hypervisors. Proficient in general Network and WAN technologies. Proficient in AWS CLI, Python, Windows PowerShell and Linux Shell scripting. Proficient in CloudFormation or TerraForm IaC tools. AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate certification is required Requirements Key Responsibilities 1. Work with architecture team in discovering and accessing customer s existing on-prem solutions and infrastructure to migrate to the AWS Cloud. 2. Work with architecture team in planning the migrations from on-prem to AWS Cloud. 3. Setup AWS landing zone based on the requirements from the architecture team. 4. Setup various AWS native migration tools to automate the migrations. 5. Develop scripts as needed to automate the migration tasks. 6. Configure monitoring and logging of the workloads on AWS. 7. Configure regular backups and cross region disaster recovery per the requirements from architecture team. 8. Work with architecture team to create O&M documentation for the customer.
