Job Description

We are looking for a talented and experienced Designer Cum Developer specializing in CodeIgniter and Laravel frameworks. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing robust, scalable, and secure web applications, with a particular focus on e-commerce and shopping cart solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, create intuitive user interfaces, and implement efficient back-end functionalities.

Responsibilities:

  • Web Application Development: Design and develop web applications using CodeIgniter and Laravel frameworks. Implement secure and scalable back-end functionalities, including database interactions, user authentication, and data management.
  • Front-end Development: Utilize your design skills and expertise to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces. Implement front-end components and features using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Bootstrap.
  • Shopping Cart Development: Develop shopping cart functionalities, including product catalogs, cart management, payment gateways integration, and order processing. Ensure seamless user experience and smooth transaction flows.
  • Database Management: Design and optimize database schemas, write efficient queries, and ensure data integrity. Utilize your knowledge of DBMS (Database Management Systems) to create well-structured and efficient database architectures.
  • CodeIgniter and Laravel Expertise: Utilize your strong knowledge and experience in CodeIgniter and Laravel frameworks to develop robust and scalable web applications. Implement best practices, follow coding standards, and utilize the frameworks' features effectively.
  • Back-end Development: Develop server-side functionalities and APIs using PHP and other relevant technologies. Implement secure authentication mechanisms, data validation, and authorization protocols.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the quality and stability of developed applications. Perform code reviews, identify and fix bugs, and optimize performance.
  • Collaboration and Documentation: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and project managers. Document technical specifications, project requirements, and maintain clear and concise documentation.

    • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Strong proficiency in PHP and experience with CodeIgniter and Laravel frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of front-end web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Bootstrap.
  • Proficiency in OOPS concepts and their application in developing scalable and maintainable code.
  • Experience with database management systems (DBMS) like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce concepts and experience in developing shopping cart functionalities.
  • Optimize store performance with respect to the UI/UX, speed, Algorithm etc.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
