Deputy General Manager / General Manager - Api Production Job in Zydus Lifesciences Limited

Relevant experience in handling multipurpose an API production facility. At least 3 - 5 years in a senior level role with all-round and independent operational / Plant management responsibilities.

Daily and Monthly Production planning and control.

Development work for higher yield, better output and lower environmental load by different means including process improvement initiatives.

Achieving production targets by maintaining budgeted consumption norms and costs.

Effective resource planning for optimizing man & machines utilization, reducing waste & enhancing productivity.

Scheduling for production of different products in same facility.

Must be fully familiar with regulatory requirements of similar plants, including compliance with cGMP requirements and having faced international factory / quality audits;

Ensure stringent adherence to quality standards & practices identifying capacity limitations & bottlenecks and process problems, plant upsets, reasons for production shortfall, & taking corrective actions.

Ensuring the QA / QC departments support the production team through efficient MIS for product and process quality procedures.

Co-ordination with cross functional department. Carry out the validations for new process & modified process in coordination with different stake holders viz. Process engineering, Technology Transfer and Research team.

Execute cost saving and energy saving techniques/ measures and modification to achieve substantial reduction in operational work within the budget.

Must have proven man management skills, with ability to handle a mix of experienced technically qualified professionals.
