Job Description

We are looking for a player/coach Engineering management role, leading a team of Web developers as we continue to deliver quality services to clients. Both you and your team will be spread across multiple simultaneous feature development teams.

Job Responsibilities

• Guidance of web development (best practices, tools, design patterns).
• Coaching, mentoring and development of your team.
• Making direct contributions to product/feature development.
• In collaboration with UX and Product leadership, blending technology into our product roadmap that supports short-term needs and fuels long-term vision.
• Helping drive innovation through new uses of technology in key areas of product development.

This role will be located in our India office which is located at Gandhinagar,Gujarat.

Experience that would come in handy:

Your experience should include many of the following:

• 4+ years in software development
• 2+ years serving in a team leadership/mentoring capacity
• Working with distributed/remote teams

Technologies

• Thorough understanding of Garbage Collection
• WebSockets
• REST api interaction
• JSON data modeling
• Grunt / Karma / NPM / Yarn tool experience
• Git repository use and management
• Unit testing
• Agile development practices
• CI / CD experience

Bonus points if you have

• Angular 2+
• SockJS
• React Native, Vue.js, TypeScript
• NoSQL (Mongo), SQL (MySQL/ Postgres)
• AWS services
• Jenkins pipeline builds
• Automation experience (Selenium, PhantomJS, Cucumber, etc)
• Experience building SaaS products
