Job Summary

Responsibilities

    • Provide Technical leadership to data engineering platform, build and guide engineering team of 15+ engineers
    • Chalk out and implement vision, technology roadmap and goals for the platform
    • Work with other Engineering leaders, Product Management and Operations end enable them by providing scalable, quality features at a rapid pace.
    • Set up best practices for development and enforce adoption
    • Evaluate and adopt cutting edge technologies for Zeotap needs
    • Conduct design reviews and assist Architect technically robust, flexible and scalable solutions
    • Work with program management to plan technical deliveries and drive data-driven improvements for Agile process
    • Mitigate people, process and technical risks
    • Manage career trajectories of team members and ensure their growth
    • Manage performance regularly and share and seek feedback
    • Drive high performance and collaboration and clarity amidst rapidly evolving organizational activities
    • Address staffing needs and ensure healthy hiring pipeline

Requirements

    • 10+ Years of experience with minimum of 2 years managing a team
    • Strong ownership and proof of high quality and fast-paced technical deliveries
    • Excellent leadership skills to manage and mentor teams
    • Strong people skills with good communication, delegation and performance management
    • Distributed systems design is mandatoryDeep understanding of Data technologies and
    • Experience in building data pipelines managing high scale in Apache Spark, Big data tech and streaming stacks
    • Demonstrated experience in building platform and products
    • Good track record of individual technical accomplishments
    • Sound judgment in choosing NoSQL based technologiesExperience in GCP a plusPast experience in AdTech Martech a big plus
