Job Description: Salesforce Integration Developer
Position Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled Salesforce Integration Developer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Salesforce development and integrating Salesforce with other systems. As a Salesforce Integration Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing seamless integrations between Salesforce and various external systems. You will collaborate with stakeholders, gather integration requirements, and provide technical expertise to ensure smooth and efficient data exchange.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Salesforce development, with expertise in integrating Salesforce with third-party systems using various integration patterns and technologies. You should possess excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Experience with different integration methodologies, such as REST, SOAP, and middleware platforms, is essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand integration requirements and design efficient solutions that align with business goals and technical standards. Develop and implement integrations between Salesforce and external systems, ensuring seamless data flow and synchronization. Design and configure integration workflows, mappings, and transformations to ensure accurate and efficient data exchange. Build and customize APIs, web services, and middleware platforms to facilitate seamless integration between Salesforce and external systems. Perform data mapping, data cleansing, and data validation activities to ensure data integrity and consistency across integrated systems. Conduct thorough testing of integrations to identify and resolve any issues or performance bottlenecks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, administrators, and business analysts, to ensure successful integration implementation and post-implementation support. Document integration processes, including requirements, design, and deployment steps, for future reference and knowledge sharing. Stay up to date with Salesforce updates and new integration technologies, recommending and implementing improvements to existing integrations. Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and team members, fostering their growth and development in Salesforce integration. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Salesforce Integration Developer or a similar role. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Salesforce development and customization, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components. Proven experience in integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST, SOAP, middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi), or custom integration solutions. Familiarity with common integration patterns, such as point-to-point, hub-and-spoke, and publish-subscribe. Experience with integration security considerations, authentication, and authorization mechanisms. Proficiency in data migration and integration tools, such as Data Loader, Informatica, or Jitterbit. Solid understanding of web technologies, including HTTP, XML, JSON, and web services (SOAP, REST). Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to identify and resolve integration issues effectively. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Primary Location
