Job Summary Key responsibilities -
  • Works as advisor/consultant to the customer on application transformation journey and building cloud native applications on Azure.
  • Creating, deploying, configuring, and scaling applications on Azure paas.
  • Develop complex, end to end, enterprise scale solutions for transformation to Azure.
  • Assessment of on-premises application portfolio, application rationalization and recommend strategy, roadmap and structured plan for transformation to Azure.
  • Develop and review technical architecture design and recommend Azure best practices
  • Customer facing role to lead and participate in architectural discussions and design workshops.
  • Provide solutions on critical issues, technical challenges faced during re-factoring, re-architecting and re-building applications on Azure.
  • Design and develop innovative solutions, point solutions and automation solutions for build, engineer, migrate and operate on Azure.
  • Build IPs, accelerators, frameworks for various stages of transformation journey to Azure.
Required Experience -
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Azure Application Architecting and Cloud Native applications.
  • Expert in most of the Azure PaaS Services. E.g. Web Apps, Mobile Apps, API Apps, Logic Apps, Azure storage services like SQL DB, Document DB, Data Lakes, Data Warehouse, Azure Service Bus, Event Hubs and Notification Hubs for multi-tenant environments.
  • Experience of Azure DevOps, Service Fabric/AKS and Application Insights.
  • Excellent knowledge on Cloud Security, IAM, federation, integrations, hybrid and multi-cloud concepts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Technologies like .Net Framework.
  • Experience in Agile and traditional SDLC project execution methodologies
  • Should have exposure/experience building Accelerators, frameworks, and IPs for Cloud.
  • Experience in Responding to RFPs, Solutioning, estimation is required.
  • Advance level Certification [AZ-303 & AZ-304] on Azure (Development) is required.
  • Any other PaaS platform knowledge e.g. Cloud foundry would be added advantage.
  • Common:
  • Strong knowledge of Cloud related tools on automation and optimizations.
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills with considerable exposure in Client facing role.
  • Ability to establish good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and collaborate to drive a larger technology initiative/program.
  • Excellent organization skills, attention to details and ability to multi-task
  • Strong knowledge of Cloud-related tools on automation and optimizations.
