Job Summary
Qualification : Any Graduation or Post Graduation
- Should have 9-12 years of experience in the full-time testing role and at least 4-6 years in the hands-on automation architect role
- Should have prior experience of designing and developing test automation frameworks from the scratch
- Should have prior experience of leading a team of automation engineers
- Should have hands-on experience of at least two of the following
- Selenium Webdriver with Java/C#/Python/JS
- Protractor
- Appium
- Test complete
- Ranorex
- UFT
- Postman, RestAssured
- Should have hands-on experience on the following tools
- Git/Bitbucket/Gitlab/SVN
- Selenium grid/Saucelabs/Browserstack
- Jenkins/AzureDevops
- Wireshark/Mountebank/any other service virtualization tools
- Should be familiar with end-end phases of test automation
- Should be familiar with code reviews, design patterns, and implementing best practices in test automation
- Should have excellent communication skills
- Should be a quick learner
- Design, Develop test automation IP products such as test automation frameworks, configuration, test data generation, Reporting tools across multiple tools, programming languages
- Analyze Test automation trends in the market, learn new tools as needed, and design reusable test automation frameworks.
- Coordinate with the Stakeholders to facilitate the gathering and documenting of test automation objectives and requirements for input into Automation Strategy and Design approach
- Design test automation proposals and RFPs
- Documents test automation requirements and other test planning artifacts in preparation for test automation design
- Support functional testing teams and clients as Test automation consultant in Setup, Planning, POC, Delivery, Training, and handover of test automation solutions
- Coordinates and facilitates test automation delivery and POCs
- Coordinate with team and deliver Technical White papers, Case studies, and other Sales collaterals on Test automation as needed
- Create & Propose win-win solutions for Test automation assignments
- Manage a team of automation testers, Technical Analysts
- Manages automated testing artifacts to ensure proper reuse, versioning, backups, organization, and retention.
- Trains and mentors other employees on test automation
- Support Sales and ES team as needed
- Interfaces as needed with the Senior Manager to report status
- Conduct test automation interviews, train the junior/mid-level automation engineers
- Conduct performance appraisals
