Job Summary

Reporting to a manager and supporting the finance and accounting teams, a Finance executive should include some of the below key duties and responsibilities. This is a role that interacts with several departments internally.

Role Overview

Assisting in the preparation of book keeping

Managing/preparing/processing records and receipts of sales order, invoices and receivables.

Reconciling daily, monthly and yearly transactions

Coordinating with store teams for sales dispatch that includes managing e-way bills etc.

Resolve financial disputes raised by the customer service and sales teams

Audit the purchase orders & ensure timely correction of sales team

Coordinating with 3rd party vendors which includes GST, Tax etc.

Being a key point of contact for other departments on financial and accounting matters

Supporting the Finance Manager and executives with projects and tasks when required

Collecting payments from the clients.


Key Responsibilities and Dimensions of Role

  • Accurate and timely bookkeeping
  • Own the operation of Zenatix bookkeeping ensuring that financial records are kept accurate and up to date.
  • Process all invoicing.
  • Process expenses claims.
  • Provide additional support as required to the Finance Manager



Effective office administration/logistics

  • Maintain inventory of office supplies and own re-ordering processes.
  • Ensure a clean and tidy office environment (overseeing the cleaner).
  • Manage social calendar including celebration of staff birthdays and other special occasions.


Accurate and timely operation of payroll

  • Own the operation of the monthly payroll processes to ensure staff are paid accurately and on time.
  • Manage changes and updates to payroll.
  • Respond to ad hoc queries in relation to payroll.


The employee may be required to undertake such other tasks and responsibilities as may be directed, from time to time, by the line manager that are consistent with the nature of the job described above.

Job specification

Essential Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience and Skills

B.com/CA intern

Relevant experience should be at least 1-3 yrs

Should have experience using any accounting software like Tally, ERP etc.

Must be Proficient in Excel (Vlookup, Pivots etc.)

Highly organized and process driven

High level of attention to detail

Strong team player

Comfortable using own initiative and taking ownership of processes

High levels of integrity and trustworthiness

Able to handle confidential information

Additionally desirable

Understanding of engineering industry
