Position is based at Chnadigarh,Punjab A minimum of 5-7 years web design/development/application experience with a minimum of 3 years of Hands On Project Managerial Experience. Solid understanding of the web development process, including requirements gathering, design, development tools and technologies, QA and deployment management. This position involves both expansion and maintenance of the associations primary and supplementary web sites, determining site hosting needs, fostering relationships with hosting providers, directing multiple projects, and establishing annual operational and developmental budgets Ability to work effectively with members of senior management and Identifying specific areas of necessary development activity Maintaining key relationships within the IT function in terms of project delivery, upgrades and adaptations .This includes RFP development, testing and Integration. Maintaining key relationships with other functions within the organization. Creating a reputation for high-quality, efficient and innovative production. Developing and leveraging partnerships and strategic alliances with various technology vendors. Ensuring continued success of current systems and future systems by staying on top of trends in the Internet industry. Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as ability to present and explain technical and business information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding. Ability to inspire, motivate and manage teams effectivelyMinimum RequirementsHands on Experience on the following : HTML (hand-coding, no WYSIWYG) and DHTML, JavaScript, CSS, SSI and Javascript (cross platform browser compatibility, MS Project, MS PowerPoint, Visio. Knowledge of scripting language (PHP, ASP), Perl (not a must) Demonstrated expertise with MsSQL, MySQL, and MS Access JAVA and XML experience a plus E-Commere Development Tools and Application - Merchant Account and Integration. Internet Security Efficient with Hosting and Domain, Streaming and Video Servers.Additional Responsibilities : Maintain the Company Website ensuring full support to customers. Manage Client Accounts Includes Updates and Monitoring Build Standard Modules to Service Clients Search Engine Optimization ( Experience A Plus ) Hire Programmers, Web Server Admin and Technical Writer. Support team will also be required at a later date.
