• Build a client:You are required to make sales calls and build a portfolio of the clients. You will also be responsible for research and seeking our prospects.
• Two-way link:You are to act as a link between clients, carriers, shippers, and receivers by relaying information.
• Social customer service: You will also be responsible for establishing and developing relationships with clients, thus providing excellent customer service. You must also encourage customers to repeat business with us thus sustaining a solid relationship.
• Crosscheck:You are also involved in overseeing the movement of clients goods. You must ensure that they are picked up, transported, and delivered on time. You must also keep records of customer satisfaction.
• Barter queries:You are also assigned to manage rate negotiation with clients.
• Talk your way: One of your major responsibilities would be to communicate with clients and prospects.
• Plan meets:You are also expected to call clients and schedule visits whenever necessary to follow up on potential business.
• Liaison with the operating team:You will also need to communicate with the operations team to track loads and clients or prospects to provide them with up-to-date information and process all customer purchases accordingly.
• Generate leads:You must also generate promising leads for the outside sales team to pursue.
• Happy customers:You should also manage the customer accounts by ensuring customer satisfaction with company products and services.
• Take a no:You must also use sales scripts proffered by the company to drive sales and respond to customer rejections.
• Know it all: You are also responsible for in-depth knowledge of customer products and services to make suitable recommendations based on customers needs and preferences.
