Job Summary

Description

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the engineering teams to ensure quality for our releases, assess risks and ensure features ship with a high-quality bar.
  • Plan, develop and execute a test cases, test plans and test strategy
  • Participate in design and architectural discussions.
  • Manages scheduled and unscheduled deployment, release, and monitoring post deployment
  • Partner with engineering and infrastructure teams to automate testing that prevents regressions and ensures reliability of releases
  • Troubleshoot and guide your team to solve issues found during testing
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to improve Engineering as a whole
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical members of the project team
  • Simultaneously handle multiple tasks
  • Setup and integrate monitoring, dashboard, and alert systems to quickly and proactively prevent or detect errors
  • Own product feature end to end from test signoff standpoint in an Agile development environment.
  • Resolve escalations reported by customers
  • Adhere to agile development principles while following and improving all aspects of the scrum process
  • Assist peer organizations with activities such as performance, scalability, and reliability testing

Mandatory Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in automation testing using Python/ Java
  • Strong experience in REST API Testing, Browser-based Web Applications Testing using Tools such asRobot framework, Allure Reports
  • Good experience in Containers [Docker/Kubernetes]
  • Hands-on technical leader experienced leading teams of at least 2 -4 automation and manual QA engineers
  • Good experience to work with Git, GitHub, or Mercurial
  • Knowledge of integration with Jenkins or a similar tool
  • Excellence communication, analytical and problem- solving skills
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, testing methodologies, QA terminology and processes
  • Comfortable with working in a complex matrix environment
  • Experienceworking with agile software development methodology
