Job Summary

Description

Automation Test EnggRole
  • Write test strategies, test plans, test cases, test scenarios and perform test estimation using structured methodologies.
  • Writing test scripts to execute test cases.
  • Ensuring end to end testing.
  • Generating test logs/test results.
  • Logging defects and doing root cause analysis.
  • Suggest improvements in testing processes.
  • Understand requirement and execute test plan, generate matrix out of bug reports, categorize defects, ensuring a minimum defect leakage ratio
  • Write detailed scripts to reproduce bugs.
  • To be able to conduct preliminary technical interviews for recruitments.
  • Contributing in organizational activities such as recruitment drives, campus hiring, training, grooming junior staff, writing blogs, representing Xoriant in industry forums etc.
Mandatory Skills:
  • Should have 6 - 8 yrs of experience in the IT Industry
  • Strong development and technical skills in Java
  • Knowledge of test automation methodologies and experience of implementing test automation best practices
  • Experience of developing, extending, and executing test automation frameworks for both functional and non-functional tests
  • Experience of integrating automation tests into the build process e.g. Hudson and Jenkins
  • Strong experience with Backend Automation like APIs, JMS, MQs would be preferred
  • Good knowledge in Implementing DevOps process for Test Automation

  • Excellent communication skills. Clearly articulating and documenting technical and functional specifications is a key requirement.
