Linux Adminstrator Job in Xenonstack

Job Summary

We are looking for a Linux administrator who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring the infrastructure; also, to collaborate with other team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes. You will become an integral part of the team, making every problem of the platform a problem of your own, and solving them accordingly.

Responsibilities

• You would be proficient in network tools such as tables, Linux IPVS, HAProxy, etc.
• You would have the ability to build and monitor services on production servers.
• You would be experienced on Bare-Metal and Virtualized and Cloud environments - OpenStack, AWS and Google, Azure
• You would also have good knowledge of Infrastructure monitoring and Managed Services for Hadoop, AWS, Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes Clusters
• You would execute all the supporting tasks which are included, but not limited to code deployment, managing source control systems, virtual servers, scripting etc.
• You would implement, secure and maintain the computer systems for its test, development and production environment.
• You would identify and analyze the issues that hamper the performance of the system, and work closely in coordination with the product development team and recommend the solutions related to the issues.
• You would identify the discrepancies in the system, assess the risks, and implement solutions by adhering to the security standards.
• You would be involved in writing and modifying scripts for application deployments as well as system monitoring.
• You would be involved in developing and overseeing the backup, replication, clustering and failover strategies.
• Your duty is to upgrade the software installed including on to the server including upgrading virus software and code upgrades.
• You would also be responsible for maintenance of Hadoop Clusters, AWS, Azure and Microservices.

Skills

• Ansible, Linux, Cloud, Shell Scripting, DevOps
• Certification will be advantage

Qualifications

Bachelors/Masters in computer or related field
