Job Summary

XenonStack s Artificial Intelligence Team is looking for an exceptional, motivated software engineer to implement an Edge computer vision system. This is an ambitious undertaking to create a new device category from the ground up and is replete with technical challenges. You will take an exciting and challenging role on a team and work with world-class engineers, business leaders, and other talented engineering teams while you architect and code for our computer vision platform for the edge.

You will be part of a passionate team whose mission is to push the frontier of computer vision and machine learning technology into the bright home application area. This is an excellent opportunity for you to innovate in this space by developing software at the edge and in the cloud and integrating them into consumer services to enable a premium customer experience.

You will implement a complex sensor network system/algorithm in computer vision and related disciplines in this role. You will translate business and functional requirements into working code. You will build large-scale infra to facilitate using a large amount of data to train and test computer vision systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and test vision algorithms to control robots and advanced hardware systems created for human interaction environments

  • Develop and evaluate state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms for real-time control of robots and other hardware devices

  • Port, implement and optimize analytics and machine learning algorithms using special-purpose computing architectures.

  • Propose and implement creative, efficient solutions for vision and control problems and expand our intellectual property portfolio.

  • Perform technical performance benchmarking and analyses to support engineering decisions.

  • Determine project specifications and project schedule by studying product requirements and specifications, calculating time requirements, and sequencing project elements.

  • Assist in the installation and running of product demonstrations.

  • Debugging with no additional support.

  • Participate in design reviews.

  • Documentations for design control.

Technical Requirements

  • Strong in writing code in C/C++, on a Unix/Linux platform

  • Knowledge of embedded devices.

  • Knowledge in architecture, including familiarity with object-oriented patterns.

  • Knowledge in investigating, designing, prototyping, and productizing new and innovative computer vision system solutions

  • Knowledge in building and productizing Machine Learning models.

  • Knowledge of working with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, MxNet, ONNX, and Caffe.

  • Knowledge of GPU programming (CUDA or OpenCL) on GPU accelerator architectures.

  • Knowledge of camera bring-up and ISP pipeline configuration.
