Responsibilities: Evaluate and understand various technologies utilized in mining operations. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, engineering teams, and clients to identify opportunities and challenges in data and operations management within the mining industry. Design and develop customized solutions to address specific needs, aiming to optimize mining efficiency, productivity, and safety. Conduct thorough research and stay up-to-date with advancements in mining technology, emerging trends, and best practices. Assess existing mining processes and systems, analyzing data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. Lead the Sales and implementation of software solutions at various mine sites, coordinating installation, configuration, and training activities. Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot issues, resolve software conflicts, and enhance system performance. Provide technical support and guidance to mine site personnel, ensuring effective usage of deployed technology solutions. Maintain accurate documentation of project specifications, technical specifications, testing procedures, and user manuals. Stay informed about industry regulations, compliance requirements, and standards related to mining technology. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Proven experience working as a Mining Technology Consultant or in a similar role within the mining industry. Strong understanding of various technologies used in mining operations Proficient in data analysis, and project management. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex challenges. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to travel to various mine sites as needed if needed. Good understanding of databases and SQL will be preferred. Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and edge computing is advantageous. Strong organizational skills with an Entrepreneurial Mindset will be preferred.
