Job Summary
Required Technical Skill Set - Functional & Domain Expertise: Extensive knowledge of CRM, Order Management (OM), and Billing, covering the BSS functional areas like: - Channels (assisted and non-assisted) - Sales (customer order handling) - Commerce (catalogue and CPQ) - Service Order Management, Rating, Charging, and Billing - Leadership: Ability to provide in-depth technical direction and lead cross-functional teams across the overall B/OSS Architecture and application design, configuration, data cleansing, data migration, and integration. - Prepaid Product Experience: Critical for the role. Preferred Technologies: - Java-based Microservices: Experience with Spring framework-based microservices and API development. - Frontend: React JS framework. - Cloud: Knowledge of GCP (Google Cloud Platform) & AWS. - NoSQL Databases: Experience with Cassandra or similar. - AI/ML: Understanding of deep learning and machine learning models. Desired Experience Range - 15+ years in IT, with at least 10 years of experience in B/OSS prepaid project implementations. Desired Competencies Technical Competencies: - Strong understanding of B/OSS design and solution architecture concepts, particularly for the telecommunications consumer segment. - Proven experience in large-scale B/OSS project implementations, including system upgrades and data migration from legacy systems. - Expertise in COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) telco applications, such as: - Siebel, Vlocity - Oracle OSM, Netcracker RBM - Oracle BRM, Amdocs Keenan - Solution Architecture Design: Experience designing solutions for at least 5 large-scale telecom projects, including prepaid and postpaid mobility services. - AS-IS to TO-BE Architecture Design: Ability to create transition and end-state solution architecture, detailing the evolution from the current (AS-IS) to the future (TO-BE) state. - Expertise in End-to-End Solution Design: Ability to develop High-Level Designs (HLD) and map out system requirements, process flows, and gaps. - Deep knowledge of Telecom Mobility Products (Prepaid & Postpaid). - Ability to identify gaps in the technical/functional architecture and translate business requirements into effective solution designs. - Familiarity with eTOM & TOGAF frameworks. Behavioral Competencies: - Stakeholder Management: Ability to challenge and negotiate with business and IT stakeholders to establish consensus on methodology and approach. - Strong Communication: Effective verbal, presentation, and technical writing skills. - Ability to clearly communicate complex digital solutions at both technical and executive levels. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to find common ground and brainstorm solutions to reach alignment. Responsibilities and Expectations - Multi-Project Solutioning: Provide solutions for multiple projects simultaneously, working with business clients, subject matter experts, IT, and internal project managers to ensure timely delivery and status communication. - Digital BSS Innovation: Drive innovation in digital BSS by leveraging new technologies to renovate and optimize existing systems and enhance the user experience. - High-Level Design Ownership: Take full ownership of the High-Level Design (HLD), including process flows, UML diagrams, and system impacts as per internal templates. - Complexity Assessment: Provide T-Shirt sizing for project complexity and contribute high-level approaches for demand management.
