Job Summary Role Purpose To deliver technical expertise in architecture planning, system design, and daily operations of a specific IT domain, ensuring high scalability, efficiency, and alignment with business needs. Key Responsibilities 1. Architecture and Project Support Design & Implementation: Lead architectural design for platforms, middleware, or databases to ensure scalability and extensibility. Capacity Planning: Assess and prepare for current and future system demands. Technology Optimization: Leverage new features and functionalities to enhance system performance. Disaster Recovery: Develop and implement robust backup and recovery plans. 2. Operational Management Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventative fixes. Maintenance & Upgrades: Oversee system upgrades, migrations, and configurations. Efficiency Improvement: Monitor system performance, fine-tune operations, and enhance efficiency via automation. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain SOPs, test plans, and operational manuals; provide regular status reports to stakeholders. Service Improvement: Implement initiatives such as automation to elevate service delivery standards. 3. Team Management Recruitment & Resourcing: Forecast resource needs, hire appropriately, and onboard new team members. Talent Development: Ensure compliance with training standards, identify and nurture high-potential employees, and foster diversity in leadership. Performance Reviews: Set goals, conduct appraisals, and provide feedback. Engagement & Recognition: Lead initiatives to enhance team satisfaction and reward exceptional performance. 4. Stakeholder Interaction Internal Stakeholders: Collaborate with technology groups, business units, and risk/quality assurance teams for planning, issue resolution, and compliance. External Stakeholders: Engage with clients for requirements gathering and status updates and coordinate with vendors for platform development and deployment. Required Competencies Functional Competencies Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of the relevant technology tower (platform, database, middleware, etc.). Industry Knowledge: Awareness of IT trends and their application to business needs.
