Role Overview The role will involve in creating, planning and delivering visual or video-led content outputs aligned to the brand s marketing charter across all primary or secondary mediums - digital like social media/online community or internal digital assets - mobile apps, website, even external mediums - youtube. The position will work directly with the marketing leadership to engage periodically. The role should not just be specialised in standard editing platforms like Adobe Creative Cloud, Final Cut Pro or including After Effects/Premiere, but should also provide creative suggestions in line with the requirements and current trends. Job Description/Responsibilities Creating high-quality video content for various digital platforms, for Facebook Ads, Youtube Ads, and social media content with a primary focus on e- commerce. Content Enhancement: Learn and apply basic post-production techniques, including color correction, audio balancing, and adding simple graphics or text overlays. Footage Selection: Work closely with the operations team to help select the best shots and sequences that align with the project's objectives. Transitions and Effects: Gain experience in incorporating basic transitions and effects to enhance visual appeal and maintain viewer engagement. Audio Enhancement: Assist in editing audio tracks, selecting suitable background music, and ensuring proper audio levels for a polished final product. File Management: Organize and maintain assignment files, ensuring efficient access to media assets and edited versions. Collaboration: Collaborate with the other team members to understand assignment requirements and implement feedback. Creative Input: Contribute ideas and suggestions during brainstorming sessions to enhance the overall quality and impact of the video content. Adherence to Deadlines: Work diligently to meet editing milestones and project deadlines in a timely manner. Requirements Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) is a plus but not mandatory. Great understanding of video editing principles, such as continuity editing, shot composition, and pacing. Creativity and attention to detail in order to contribute to the visual storytelling process. 2-3 Years of Video Editing Experience. Strong organizational skills to manage media assets and project files effectively. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Excellent communication skills to convey ideas and receive feedback constructively. Qualifications Graduate in any discipline. Degree in film studies, editing or related fields to be given priority.
