What You Will Do
- Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Drive the design, development, and delivery of cutting-edge features for Kafka on Confluent / Apache Kafka.
- Develop programs using Kafka APIs and Kafka Streams API.
- Define partitioning strategies and configure brokers, topics, producers, consumers, schema registry, and KSQL.
- Optimize and tune Kafka performance to ensure efficiency and scalability.
- Implement kStream applications in Java, including handling grouping, aggregation, and more.
- Demonstrate scaling expertise in managing kStream applications.
- Ensure designs comply with specifications and best practices.
- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from requirement analysis to deployment and maintenance.
- Apply knowledge and experience with cloud technologies to support scalable and resilient Kafka deployments.
