Ruby On Rails Developer Job in Wgbl

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain clean, efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code.
• Design robust, scalable and secure features.
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
• Help maintain code quality, organization and automatization.
• Follow best practices (test-driven development, continuous integration, SCRUM, refactoring and code standards).
• Drive continuous adoption and integration of relevant new technologies into design.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience(2+ years) as a Ruby on Rails developer.
• Must be good at programming, logical and analytical skills.
• Firm understanding of object-oriented programming & object-oriented design patterns.
• Demonstrable knowledge of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and JQuery
• Web fundamentals like HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors
• Experience developing highly interactive applications
• Passion for writing great, simple, clean, efficient code
• Good knowledge of relational databases
• Working knowledge of NoSQL databases
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes
• Able to implement automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools like Git
• Preferable if having experience in JS frameworks like React JS
• Familiarity with development aiding tools such as Bundler, Rake, etc.
