Job Summary
Roles and Responsibilities
- Senior Backend Developer with 4 to 9 years of strong experience in Java/J2EE.
- Strong Java developer who is proficient with Java 1.8 version, Spring, NoSQL and Rest web services.
- The primary focus will be developing Backend applications.
- Good hands on in JUnit, mockito, powermockito.
- Commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important.
- Developing backend rest services
- Working on different design patterns
- Optimizing services for maximum performance
- Provide guidance to junior team members manage overall technical deliverable
- Learning/Adapting to new technologies
- Thorough code review and suggest refactor for better design/performance
Desired Candidate Profile
- Strong proficiency in Java/J2EE including web services
- Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases
- Thorough understanding of SpringBoot framework & Spring Security
- Hands on, demonstrated, working experience with RESTful APIs
- Experience with data structure libraries
- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
- Familiarity with modern back-end build pipelines and tools like maven, gradle.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- Familiarity with code versioning tools viz., GIT
- Knowledge on AWS will be an added advantage
