  • This role will function as a team member on a web portal project with development responsibilities (development, documentation, testing, and implementation). Responsibilities include discussions with key stake holders regarding the project timelines and milestones met.

Desired Profile

  • Significant Ruby on Rails development experience.
  • Strong development skills with at least one scripting language (Ruby, Python, PHP).
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies.
  • Experience owning, delivering and maintaining production code and services
  • Exposure developing on Linux/Unix. You don't need to be an admin, but you need to be comfortable with a terminal shell
  • Javascript / CoffeeScript / JQuery / AngularJS / Backbone
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Developing, designing, and managing applications in a service-oriented architecture
  • Experience on MongoDB will be added advantage.
  • Should have used Git as version control for at least one project.
