Job Description Essential Functions and Responsibilities : Responsible for the development of front-end applications and components Operate effectively as an individual for quick turnaround of features and fixes Coordinate with the backend engineers & designers Responsible for creating POCs to design a scalable system Build reusable code and libraries for future use Would help the team implement unit testing in the project Ideal Candidate: 3 to 5 years of experience in frontend technologies in marketing tech (experience in SaaS) 3 to 5 years hands on experience with unit testing tools like jest, etc. Prior hands-on experience in building responsive web interfaces at scale for consumers in a product engineering setup Strong development experience on the following technologies - HTML5, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, working with REST APIs. Good understanding XML, JSON and Web Services, Front end frameworks/library such as ReactJS, Redux, Web standards, Responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility, SEO Excellent debugging and optimization skills Good understanding of browser rendering behaviour and performance Familiar with JavaScript module loaders, such as Require.js and AMD Familiar with front-end build tools, such as Webpack, Grunt and Gulp.js Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git Experimental mindset and ever ready to take up new challenges Life at WebEngage: We take transparency very seriously.
