Skills Required

Very good understanding of embedded hardware - schematics understanding, booting sequence, etc

Experience with open-source boot loader - u-boot, etc.

Very good knowledge on Linux internals - process, multi-threading, IPC, sockets, etc.

Very good understanding of system interfaces and BUS protocols - PCI, USB, I2C, SPI, UART, etc.

Demonstrated experience on device drivers of system peripherals - SPI/I2C/UART devices, RTC, EEPROM, NAND/NOR, DDR, etc.

Hands-on experience with developing/troubleshooting (design, implementation, debug) of C code.

Demonstrated experience with agile development.

Strong Leadership skills and ability to perform under the pressure.

Demonstrated understanding of embedded systems and experience working in firmware design/feature projects with experiences in various phases in requirements gathering, code design/implementation, test/verification.

Proven leadership skills and track record of mentoring people and advancing the organization.

Job Description:

Directs and controls the activities of an embedded Firmware/Software development team.

Support the development of technical documentation and reports.

Project requirement gathering and support the technical team in the design and development of the project.

Escalating technical road blockers in a project.

Meeting deliverable from a timeline perspective.

Manages the complete execution of the project from a technical and business point of view.

Handle two or more similar projects in a business vertical.

Handle client calls and interface to the clients for your team.

Measure and monitor the quality and progress of the work of the team and adjust accordingly.

Optimize the team's resources to attain the business goals.

Responsible for the professional development of the team.
