Job Summary
  • Set business and technical direction for a portfolio of medical device products.
  • Lead Mechanical Engineering activities in a cross functional team environment.
  • Model, build, test, and refine proto types
  • Participate on a research team providing advice/guideline/insights to your peers in your areas of expertise
  • Develop policies and procedures as they relate to department activities.
  • Apply rigorous engineering techniques to high precision design requirements in the areas such as Mechanics and Motion Control
  • Directs the development of new concepts from initial design through manufacturing
  • Monitor documentation maintenance throughout all phases of research and development
  • Aligns with organizational strategy and delivers on project goals.
  • Provide technical expertise for any strategic activities.
  • Selection and development of personnel to ensure effective performance of the team.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a leadership position in medical device industry.
  • Proficient knowledge in solid modeling software, such as Inventor, Solid works and Pro Engineer
  • Proficient knowledge of GD&T and ASME Y 14.5 drawing standards
  • Experience in analytical engineering design principles and problem solving practices.
  • Knowledge in product data and design management.

Qualification :
ME/M Tech in Mechanical Engineering. PhD preferred.
Experience Required :

Minimum 10 Years
