Principle Engineer -technical Compliance Data Analyst Job in Vontier

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Due Diligence & Investigation
o Joint Visit Inspections and remote diagnostics
o Internal Speak Ups related to tampering & fraud
o Proactive internal monitoring & analysis of real time automation
o Proactive engagement with customers to identify potential tamper events & risk areas and develop proactive counter measures.

Technical Due Diligence & Investigation Collaterals

o Perform Automation Systems forensic including digital evidence collection and preservation, analysis, requisite recovery of evidence from Automation Servers, Customer Corporate Servers, and local database examination
o Due Diligence & Investigation Reports as per agreed timelines.
o Coordinate & Collaborate with stake holders in securing collaterals, artifacts like logs, default approved configuration and gaps, pictures, videos, etc. related to the incidents. Establish and execute Process Excellence & Standard Work in Technical Compliance Investigations

o Implement & Drive FMEA mode of Analysis for suspected tamper/fraud use cases on forecourt solution and automation systems o Establish Processes for proactive Monitoring of High Risk Retail Outlets for Tampering & Fraud & appropriate Counter Measures

New Product Development & Enhancements

o Supporting POCs related to security processes & features for Anti tampering & fraud

o Collaborate with Orpak & Regional Product Development Teams for FMEA results, Security & anti tampering features in GVR automation products, platforms and service operations.

Education & Experience: The ideal candidate will have
Total Experience in years: 10-15 Years
Graduation/ Degree: BE /B. Tech (Computer Science / Electronics)
Other preferred courses/ certifications: PCI security standards

Background and Skills: The ideal candidate will have Domain Expertise in Automation Systems & Petroleum Retail Domain Hand on experience & working knowledge of Automation Systems (Point of Sale, Back Office System, Head Office Systems, Forecourt Control and Automatic Tank Gauge systems) Experience in Forecourt & Automation support & service operations Hands on experience on analysis of data logs, events, interlocks of Forecourt Control system and its system interfaces with forecourt devices & Hardware like Dispensing Units, Payment Systems, Tank Gauge Systems, Attendant Tagging systems and Price Signs,

Process & Compliance

Experience in establishing technical & functional processes from scratch Experience in applying FMEA mode of analysis to product and service use cases Experience in performing risk, business impact, control and vulnerability assessments. Able to provide oversight for on- site examinations and collections and handling of digital evidence in legally acceptable manner


Skills required

Anti Tamper / Fraud Use Case development In Depth knowledge of risk assessment methods and technologies. Strong written and verbal communication skills Automation Systems and Forecourt Control systems Log & Event Analysis Understanding of Fuel Reconciliation and Variance Analysis

Understanding of Fuel Retail Outlet operations through automation systems FMEA Analysis for Use Cases to detect gaps for tampering & fraud Data analysis in Logs, database systems and excel spreadsheets
