Roles &Responsibilities:

Lead the architecture for our data path components and contribute to the overall systems architecture

Participate in the design, implementation, documentation of system architecture initiatives and full product development life cycles.

Be hands on in architecture, design and development as well as on Windows/linux kernel architecture.

Lead design and code reviews with a major focus on performance, scalability and future expansion

Open up the boundaries in adopting new technologies, best design practices to ensure our products are the best.

Collaborate with project team members and multi-functional product teams to execute product goals.

Innovate and coach others to innovate.

Provide technical leadership to other team members and be a standout colleague.

Required Skills

15-18+ years of experience designing and developing security/systems software.

Proven track record of building systems from scratch and leading a team through all phases of the development cycle while delivering a quality product

Extensive experience in C/C++ coding on Windows, algorithms and data structures

Fully participated as a lead architect in several major product development cycles.

Excellent understanding of Operating Systems concepts and kernel components. Experience with SMP, TCP/IP, algorithms, multi-tasking, device drivers a plus.

Strong experience in Windows/Linux internals and kernel programming. Solid knowledge of modern Windows / unix kernels (i.e., Linux, BSD, Solaris, AIX, or HP/UX) in kernel/C development, debugging, problem and performance analysis.

Knowledge of CPU internals, CPU schedulers, memory management

Good knowledge of File systems on NTFS Windows/linux file-system drivers, or file-system-filter drivers -- preferably in anti-virus, intrusion prevention, or security space

Experience with low-level / kernel-level development and debugging as well as familiarity with one or more virtualization platforms a plus

Experience with building and developing in a distributed system.

Excellent analytical skills and critical thinking.

Prior experience in the Security space. Understanding of the security space including aspects of desktop and server security in at least one of the following areas a. Exploitation techniques b. Protection technologies and products c. Vulnerabilities assessment and exploits analysis

Hard-working, results oriented, high energy, self-motivated and creative individual who can become a part of a new and exciting team

Excellent interpersonal, communication skills . Ability to build consensus among stakeholders from different groups and drive technical discussions to a conclusion.

Be hands on with coding and code reviews

Strong organization and project management skills

Preferred Skills

Master's degree in computer science preferred

Experience participating in agile development is a plus.

Virtualization technologies, centralized networking, security management are all big pluses
