As a Lead Business Analyst on the SaaS Billing Operations team you will have the opportunity to join an emerging global group which is dynamic and fast-growing.

Your Responsibilities:

• Resolve all types of billing disputes, refund and inquiries for global customers ensuring accuracy with defined SLA
• Adhere to all the compliance guidelines includes revenue recognition, customer compliance and SOX control
• Demonstrate issue identification and resolution skills and partner with other cross-functional teams
• Effectively communicate well-developed, scalable solutions
• Partner with stakeholders for global projects and provide overall requirements, capture process objectives, validate design decisions, and processes/workflow requirements
• Develop end-to-end process improvement and implement best known practices thru partnership with key stakeholders and IT
• Drive and support implementation of production related system fixes
• Provide and follow up on suggestions and ideas that enhance processes, customer experience and simplicity of operations
• Identify risks to success and build mitigation plans, manage, and raise issues and drive conflicts to resolution
• Ability to investigate and analyse problems and determine solutions to effectively resolve issues
• Participate in projects and initiatives related to quality, data migration and organizational initiatives
• Drive process improvement, automation initiatives and projects from Billing Ops perspective, ensuring awareness of downstream impacts of SaaS Order and Billing processes
• Run and prepare accurate billing reports and deliver to respective stakeholders
• Develop ad-hoc reporting and analysis for management and stakeholders
• Participate in the design and documentation of applicable training materials or user guides for processes that will be leveraged by SaaS Billing Ops teams
• Participate in the Billing Platform Roadmap / Strategy determination
• Identify performance gaps and launch remedial initiatives in partnership with cross functional teams
• Develop a deep understanding of VMware's SaaS Order to Billing business processes, problem areas and scalability challenges (Subject Matter Expert)
• Support all quarter-end-related activities including readiness control tasks and reporting
• Act as operations backup where needed
• Manage and coordinate NPI activities that impact cross functional business teams to achieve successful new SaaS product offerings

You Need:

• 2 - 12 years Business Analyst experience and SaaS Order to Billing Business Operations related experience
• Experience in implementation of industry-leading Subscription Billing platforms (e.g. SAP Hybris, Zuora, other) OR in-house developed billing systems
• Experience with SaaS/subscription quoting/billing, preferably within a high volume, e-commerce model
• Deep understanding of SaaS business models in both direct, channel environments and general knowledge of revenue recognition
• Knowledge of and experience with enterprise systems and a solid understanding of enterprise integration
• Strong collaboration and leadership skills and the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management
• Ability and motivation to work expertly in a multi-task environment, both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to investigate and analyse problems using good judgment and determine solutions to resolve issues
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Proven task management and prioritization capabilities
• Ability to initiate process improvement plans and work towards change
• Ability to manage multiple global projects concurrently meeting all critical deliverable dates
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, including product management, development, quality assurance and various business partners
• Flexibility and ability to adapt within a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
• Good work ethic and sense of responsibility
• Ability to work outside of standard office hours as per business requirements

You Preferably Have:

• Proficiency in Salesforce.com, Microsoft Office, Oracle EBS or SAP
• Authority in the execution of global change management
• Strong reporting and analytical skills
• Experience collaborating on projects and testing
• Experience in Enterprise SaaS Quote-to-Cash operations
• Bachelors/masters degree
• Lead Six Sigma/Project Management certifications are added advantage
