Senior Software Test Engineer Automation Job in Vitrana Inc.

Description:

We are looking for experienced Automation Test Engineers who will play a key role in ensuring the quality and excellence of our products. The test engineer will be part of an agile development team working side by side with Developers and Business Analysts to validate application quality. The test engineer will write code using their specialized knowledge of testing techniques and best practices, as well as their knowledge of good technical architecture and design.

Responsibilities:

• Lead automation as an essential piece of successful software delivery
• The position will conduct testing for the purpose of identifying defects and ensuring quality of the developers code.
• Create test cases, write automation related to the functionality tested, and manually testing functionality, as needed using Jira and Zephyr for Jira.
• Proficiency in writing and executing complex functional test cases and test plans at both the functional and feature level
• Experience with different testing methodologies (Performance, White and Black Box testing)
• Requirements Analysis and participation on requirement walkthroughs
• Design of Test Scenarios
• Testing of the Application as per defined procedures
• Interaction with Clients/Developers to understand product requirements
• Creation of Test Product Documentation

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
• 4-8 years of industrial experience in Software Testing
• Problem Solving and Analytics
• Team Player with Strong Negotiation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven Hands-on Manual/Automation Experience for QA & Validation
• Minimum of 3+ years of Work Experience in Automation Testing
• Familiarity with Test Case Management Tools for Test Creation & Execution
• Experience with working on Programming Languages like Java or Python.
• Experience with working on DevOPS and Agile Methodology
• Good Knowledge on Automated Testing Tools such as Selenium
• Familiarity with SDLC Process
• Good Hands-on Experience in working with Office Suite i.e. Word, Spreadsheets and Presentations
