Safety Data Migration Pl/sql Developer Job in Vitrana Inc.

Description:

We are looking for data migration developers highly proficient in Oracle PL/SQL and hands-on experience in migrating clinical/safety data for drug safety systems such as Oracle Argus, ArisG etc. You will be part of our consulting team that delivers PV solutions and services to global customers.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and analyze user requirements and then propose the Design, development and implementation approach for one or more safety systems including Oracle Argus, ArisG and related modules.
• Develop Oracle PL/SQL solutions based on best practices of safety data migration and upgrades.
• Provide technical architecture and design as per the user requirements.
• Prepare/Review/Modify technical design documents.
• Development/Build and Test as per the design and user requirements
• Perform design and source code reviews.
• Develop/Review test cases and test scenarios.
• Work with the other members of the consulting and development team to perform the tasks and to achieve project objectives.
• May lead and direct other team members.
• Ensure to meet the expected quality standards.
• Support customers during validation and UAT.
• Involve and working closely with the project lead/ manager in the planning to accomplish the project goals.
• Provide guidance in variety of technical concepts, practices, standards and procedures

Requirements:

• 6-8 years of hands-on database development experience (preferably in Healthcare/Life Sciences domain)
• Very strong and hands-on in Oracle Database and PL/SQL development
• Hands on experience in designing solutions and developing for data migration projects using Oracle PL/SQL
• Experience with Oracle Argus Safety, ArisG and other Safety/Clinical systems
• Working experience in development of ETL process, DB Design and Data Structures
• Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, Tables, Views, Constraints, Index (B Tree, Bitmap and Function Based) , Object type, Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages and Triggers, Dynamic SQL, Set transaction, pl/sql Cursor variables with Ref Cursor
• Knowledge of Oracle Tablespace level , network level encryption
• Knowledge of Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one s sleeves to get the job done
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred
