The Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the secure build, acquisition and implementation as well as for the delivery, service and support of technical measures concerning IT and Information Security
• Establish, develop and maintain information assets and technologies in adherence to the company regulations, policies as well as in compliance to the legal and regulatory requirements
• Development and publication of information security policies, leadership of local site information security leads
• Leading Information Security Audits, and oversight of Information Security Audit remediation actions.
• Regulate the company specific concerns regarding Information Security on behalf of the management which includes the alignment, planning and organization as well as the monitoring, evaluation and assessment of Information Security
• You will manage end-to-end Information Security remediation efforts across business units.
• Drive security issues to resolution through continuous engagement with internal stakeholders including engineering, operations, and shared services.
• You will lead initiatives to streamline, automate and scale to meet the challenges of an evolving threat landscape
• Measure progress and performance of the progress to track and report relevant KPIs & provide metrics and dashboards to report health of the programs to internal stakeholders and management.

The Requirements

To be a good fit for the Senior Manager, Information Security role, you will have:

• University degree in computer science, business administration or in the fields of science or technology
• 15 plus years overall experience in IT with 5 plus years related work experience as Information Security Officer and/or Information Security Consultant in a global role
• Expertise and experience should include information security: governance, ISMS program development and/or management, incident management and risk management.
• Experience of managing internal team as well as external service providers.
• Hands on experience of 27001 Lead-Auditor are preferred
• Proven experience and expertise in implementing and managing information security
• Experience in developing/managing Information Security management systems (ISMS)
• Sound knowledge and experience of IT project management methodologies (e.g. PMI),
• IT process implementation (ITIL), IT Governance (COBIT) and Risk Management standards are considered beneficial
• Experience in the automotive and/or automotive supplier industry with associated process knowledge is an advantage (e.g. V-Model, A-SPICE, TISAX).
• Knowledge of products and technologies related to ICT-Security, ICT Architecture (i.e. Networks, Systems),
• A high level of motivation and commitment to identify related tasks and areas of responsibility
• Very good communication skills and the ability to discuss logically and factually with business and ICT departments and suppliers at all (senior) management and employee levels within a company
• Good analytical, problem solving and conceptual abilities
• Proven leadership and management of professional teams and staff.
