Job description:

• You will be working with cross-functional teams to create and maintain applications while providing valuable input for your team to guide and refine the development process communicate.
• You ll be creating applications/features by following wire-frames and mock-ups that are created based on your discussions with your team.
• You will also be involved in the maintenance for some existing applications built by your team.
• You ll be writing well documented/self-documenting code for the purposes of readability and maintainability. This will help you and your team save time in the future.
• You will be participating in brainstorming sessions to help your team grow and find the best approach to solve challenges.
• You will take ownership of your work from start to finish and will make the efforts required to deliver a good product.

You must have:

• In-depth knowledge of Application Development Fundamentals and the Android SDK/NDK.
• Expertise in creating Custom User Interfaces, Connectivity, Data Storage, Processes and Threads.
• Expertise in Android components like different Views, Fragments, Intents, Activities, Content Providers and Services.
• Experience in creating a cohesive UI/UX that makes your applications feel responsive and intuitive.
• Experience with databases like SQLite and Firebase.
• Familiarity with push notifications and deep linking.
• Experience in creating complex mobile applications by leveraging System Architecture Design concepts to create an excellent user experience.
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.
• Experience with integrating third-party libraries and APIs along with knowledge of commonly used ones.
• Proficiency in version control systems.
• Good knowledge of data structures and algorithms and how to use them in your work.
• A habit of writing code using best practices and optimizations where required.
• At least 2 apps published on the Google Play Store. (We d like to see them)

Good to have:

• Experience in React Native and/or Flutter.
• Knowledge of underlying device hardware and its impact on your code.
• Basic knowledge of networking and services like AWS.
• Experience in creating applications using microservices.
