Job Summary

We are looking for multiple Android developers responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a range of Android devices including Phone and Tablets. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure.


Responsibilities:

  • Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
  • Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications.
  • Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design.
  • Work with outside data sources and APIs
  • Unit-test code for robustness.
  • Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
  • Maintain code integrity and organisation.
  • Help maintain code quality, organisation, and automation.
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs


Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of Apps architecture and implementation MVP, MVVM or VIPER.
  • Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
  • Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
  • Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
  • Good exposure to various native and 3rd party frameworks(Firebase, Payment gateways).
  • Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as touch
  • Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers
  • Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
  • Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
  • Good knowledge in In-App purchase
  • A knack for bench marking and optimization
  • Understanding of Google s Android design principles and interface guidelines
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GIT, SVN
  • Familiarity with continuous integration
  • Knowledge in Kotlin is must
  • Knowledge of Flutter a plus
