Senior Developer Investment Management Application

Job Description:
The Application Development Consultant will be responsible for enhancements, maintenance, and support of applications both internally developed and vendor provided. Candidate will work with Portfolio Management, Trading, Risk, Accounting, Business Operations, and the rest of the application development team to gather and analyze requirements and assist with the design, development and support of analytics and trading applications for the client. Client is a large investment manager with assets under management of approximately $300+ billion as of 2020 Development Environment: C#, Kafka, SQL, SSIS, SSRS, Advent Geneva

Essential Responsibilities

• Implementation of applications for portfolio management and risk applications using C#, SSIS, Advanced SQL,
• Kafka and Power BI
• Understand and support multiple applications proprietary, as well as, vendor applications
• Handle communication with business users on small enhancement items, including clarification of business requirements
• Design technical specifications for application development tasks

Qualification:

• A Java developer with at least 4 year of experience in Java and Spring
• Strong SQL Skills
• Financial Service background especially Risk will be a huge plus.
