The People & Culture (HR) team s focus is to build people and interpersonal capability by translating business strategy into people strategy and results. We are dedicated to retaining, developing, rewarding, and motivating employees through a variety of different initiatives.
What you ll do in this role:- Liaising with employees & managers for Talent Acquisition, Benefits, L&D programs and Viasat policies and procedures.- Play a key role to support post recruiting efforts for our India offices.- Coordinate on-boarding and induction for all employees to ensure a positive employee experience.- Build relationships with key partners, managers and the wider People and Culture/Recruiting teams.- Assist with ad hoc HR & TA projects as the need arises.- Efficiently manage the metrics for measuring the effectiveness of various HR programs viz., learning programs, candidate experience, attrition and benefits utilization.- Plan employee committee calendar and co-ordinate employee events through the committee.
Requirements- 3+ years experience in Human Resources operations and full life-cycle Technical Recruiting.- Strong time-management and prioritization skills to multi-task ambitious requirements efficiently.- Ability to leverage strong interpersonal skills to communicate optimally in all situations at varying levels of the organizations.- Ability to manage sensitive or confidential information.- Demonstrates personal initiative in problem-solving- High attention to details and accuracy.- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Willingness to learn and high enthusiasm.- Ability to travel up to 10%
Desirable but not mandatory- Familiarity with Applicant tracking systems (ATSs) and HR databases.- University recruiting experience.
