Engineering & Business Service Center, Global Logistics Services, External Towers & Capex

This Position is belonging to Global Logistics Services (EBSC) - Supporting for Buying and planning activities globally.

Responsibilities

• PO creation as per SAP-MRP signals
• Negotiate delivery expedites with critical suppliers
• Update Order confirmation into SAP as per confirmation received from supplier
• Support follow up for Order confirmation compliance from supplier within agreed timeline
• PO maintenance - Expedite/defer/cancel deliveries as per MRP signals
• Support in report generation for analytics and MIS tracking
• Track shipments based on the info provide by LSP/Supplier/Vestas Transport system
• Should be able to create/amend process flows as and when new changes are updated in process

Qualifications

• Graduation in Engineering
• 3-5 years of experience as a Buyer dealing with end to end SCM.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Expertise with SAP
• Good ability for analytics
• Good English written and verbal communication skills and able to speak with conviction
• Highly self-motivated, creative work ethic, keen attention to details and exceptional customer service orientation
• Excellent in stakeholder management and with professional communication skills at all levels
• Innovative mind set to explore potential opportunities & propose changes within sphere of influence.

Competencies

• Expert in Spanish - Read, Speak and Write, B2 and Above level.
• Know the Procurement Process (Procure to Pay)
• Know Business stakeholders' requirements & expectations
• Analytical & ability to resolve operational tasks with ease.
• SQL, Macros, knowledge in creating/handling excel based automation tools

The work location is in Chennai, India
The role will have Less than 10-15% travel
