Job Summary
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Work with outside data sources and APIs.
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Required:
- Minimum one year of experience in software development with a strong command of OOP.
- Experience in native android development.
- Experience in Java script is an advantage.
- Experience in other mobile platform development, open source environment, JSON/XML for client- server communication, digital video (compression, packaging, distribution), high version control skills, with emphasis on git.
- Decent background in computer science (algorithms, data structure, software design, reliability, maintainability, etc).
What we would consider a bonus.
- Experience with Bintray, and Gradle scripts.
- IOS and other mobile platforms like Roku, AndroidTv and TVOS.
- Experience with backend technologies Node.js/Ruby on rails/GO.
