Role Overview
As a Principal Engineer in Verizon Business Group, you will design and implement cutting-edge AI-powered platforms and applications that enhance customer experiences. This role involves developing scalable solutions, integrating advanced technologies, and leading the team in crafting innovative AI architectures.

What You ll Do

• Architect end-to-end AI solutions using GCP, Google CCAI, and Gemini 1.5.
• Lead technical teams and provide guidance on AI model development, deployment, and optimization.
• Develop scalable, robust AI solutions for customer service and sales functions.
• Enhance applications with ReactJS, Node.js, and Python, leveraging microservices and DevOps tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and optimize performance.
• Stay ahead of advancements in generative AI and large language models to improve functionality.
• Ensure secure, efficient code and troubleshoot production issues as needed.

Skills and Expertise

• Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of relevant experience in AI architecture, development, and deployment.
• Expertise in Python, AI/ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, Keras), and GCP services like Vertex AI and AutoML.
• Hands-on experience with Google CCAI, dialogue flow creation, and large language models like Gemini 1.5.
• Proficiency in secure coding, containerization (e.g., Docker), and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins).
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, DevOps principles, and secure coding practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with security domain concepts, pipelines, and EKS.
• Knowledge of hypothesis testing, causal inference, and cloud-based multi-tenant solutions.
