Job Summary Assessment of required scaffolding and preplanning of the scaffold including weight limitations, height , scaffold type, fall protection, tie-offs, bracings supports , etc.

Overseeing the erection of the Special/One time scaffold. Execute inspection of the scaffold prior to initial occupation for use in each plant & ensure compliance to liquidation of audit check points. Maintain scaffolding register for each plant and entry is to be made after certification and records. Execute Inspections and certification of scaffolds after changes / alterations have been made for maintenance jobs. Oversight and inspections of mobile scaffolds and certification . Job specific training to be imparted to contractor scaffolders and users. Capable of identifying existing or predictable hazards in the surroundings or at working conditions which are unsanitary, hazardous, or dangerous to employees, and who has the authorization to take prompt corrective measures to eliminate these hazards prior to erection of scaffold . Ensure compliance to procedures and roll out best practices throughout site. Provide consultation in case of special / one time scaffolding requirement. 100% audit & compliance for special and one time scaffolding. Implementation of best practices for hauling of material at height inside plant. Assessment / planning of scaffolding material requirement for S/D & T/A. Stock transfer or procurement for short fall items. He should have knowledge level competency of Scaffolding design software. Technical validation of scaffolding vendors He should have convergent with all Indian standards and OSHA standards related to scaffolding. Technical validation of scaffolding vendors HSEF compliance (RESOP, MIQA, CFA, mandatory trainings) Review of trade test associated with scaffoldingInteraction with various support services Human Resource, Administration, Workshop, planning, security, vendor/manufacturers for respective services At least 2 years (for Degree)/ 8 years (for Diploma) of scaffolding experience , in core scaffolding activities in Refinery / Petrochemical plant.
