Job Summary
  • BS Computer Science or Computer Engineering required, MS/ME a plus.
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in backend development using the MEAN stack.
  • 3+ years experience with back-end development including SQL databases and web APIs
    (e.g., MQTT, REST, SOAP, XML/JSON, etc.)
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and its associated frameworks, especially Node.js and Express.js.
  • Extensive experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases, including database design and query optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
  • Solid understanding of server-side templating languages and server-side CSS preprocessors.
  • Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based deployment and hosting platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies, like Docker and Kubernetes, is a plus.
  • Experience in implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth, JWT, or similar techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in an agile development environment and deliver projects on time.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
    Understanding of GIT, Version Control
